The XPS 27 Touch by Dell is a top performing all-in-one computer that features an impressive screen resolution of 2560 x1440 pixels, a blazing fast processor and plenty of memory and storage. Its 27-inch touch screen display is bright, clear and inviting. The XPS 27 Touch may be big, but it's beautiful and earns our Top Ten Reviews Gold Award for best all-in-one PC.

Dell's XPS 27 Touch looks great. It's massive touchscreen features edge-to-edge glass, and it is bordered by a not-too-thick black bezel. You're able to easily adjust the screen's height and angle to your liking with the XPS' articulating stand. This way you'll be comfortable interacting with the display in all various ways – whether you are swiping using the touch screen or sitting upright typing a document. This touchscreen all-in-one PC also supports 10-finger tracking, so you can use both hands, but it isn't as big of a fingerprint magnet as other all-in-ones.

The screen is sharp but isn't too glossy. Since its display has more pixels than most other all-in-one PCs, colors look fantastic and text is crisp and clear. Directly above the screen is a 2-megapixel webcam, that captures 1080p video, making the computer a good choice if you do a lot of video conferencing.

Performance

You are able to select from three different renditions when configuring the computer online – each is powered by a 4th generation Intel Core processor, they clock in at up to 3.4, 4.0, and 3.9 GHz, respectively.

The lowest-priced model is equipped with the 4th generation Intel Core i5 4460S processor and has a base frequency of 2.9GHz.

The base model only has Intel's integrated graphics, but the more premium models have the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750M graphics card, which has 2GB GDDR5 memory that runs at 941 MHz. If you can afford to upgrade to the more expensive model, you will get more bang for your buck. However, if you do not play graphic intensive games, the integrated Intel graphics will be just fine.

The processor is strong enough for you to juggle multiple applications at the same time. And you can run everyday tasks, like composing documents, watching videos or surfing the internet. If you do upgrade to the more expensive graphics card though, you can be confident that your Dell XPS 27 Touch is one of the best gaming all-in-one desktop computers available.

Underneath the display are the speakers for the computer. The Dell XPS 27 Touch has excellent, clear sound quality. The sound easily fills the room when it's at maximum volume. Dell has also collaborated with Waves to offer enhanced audio on its latest all-in-one. It uses Waves' MaxxAudio software to help improve bass, volume and even enhances dialogue when watching movies.

Memory & Storage

The more-expensive models have 2TB, or twice as much storage as the lowest-tier model. They also include a 32GB solid-state drive, which is used for the boot portion of the computer. However, 1TB is certainly be plenty for most users. Some all-in-one PCs only have 500GB (0.5TB) of storage. You're still be able to store several movies, music, plenty of photos, and all your programs without a problem on the 1TB model.

This personal computer has 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM. Only the most expensive model has 16GB. However, 8GB is plenty adequate for games, running several applications simultaneously or having multiple tabs open in your internet browser.

On the left side of the display is a memory card reader. It supports SDXS, Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard and xD-Picture Card so you're able to transfer files or photos to and from your digital camera or another computer. The lowest-tier computers all have a disk drive for burning CDs and DVDs while the more expensive model offers a Blu-ray player.

Canon EOS M10

Canon EOS M10 dirilis dengan lensa kit yang dapat dilipat dengan range 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS, diposisikan sebagai kamera di bawah EOS M3 yang lebih canggih. Kamera ini sepertinya untuk menggantikan Canon EOS M2 yang sudah lama. Oculus VR Akuisisi 3D real-time Surreal Vision

Oculus VR mengakuisisi perusahaan teknologi 3D real-time, Surreal Vision. Sebelumnya, Oculus VR dibeli oleh Facebook dengan biaya USD2 miliar pada Maret tahun lalu.

Surreal Vision merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penciptaan objek dan lingkungan berbasis model 3D. "Kami merombak algoritma rekonstruksi gambar 3D untuk menyediakan model update dan kaya dari segala sesuatu di lingkungan, termasuk orang-orang dan interaksi mereka satu sama lain," tutur Richard Newcombe, salah satu pendiri Surreal Vision, seperti dilansir Bit-tech, Rabu (27/5/2015).

Ia mengungkapkan, pihaknya mengembangkan terobosan teknik untuk menangkap, menafsirkan, mengelola, menganalisis dan akhirnya mengulang proyek secara real-time. Akuisisi perusahaan diharapkan dapat memunculkan headset VR masa depan dengan display Oculus Rift dan teknologi kamera sensor menyerupai Kinect.

Informasi yang beredar sebelumnya mengungkapkan, perangkat headset virtual reality (VR), Oculus Rift akan dijual pada kuartal pertama 2016. Oculus VR mengumumkan fase penjualan tersebut melalui posting-an blog.

Website Gadgetshow.channel5 melaporkan, pengguna sudah bisa melakukan pre-order sebelum akhir tahun ini. Kabarnya, pada versi konsumen ini, Oculus Rift akan hadir dengan beberapa peningkatan dibandingkan prototipe terakhirnya.

"Oculus Rift dibangun di atas kehadiran, immersion, dan kenyamanan prototipe Crescent Bay dengan sistem penelusuran yang ditingkatkan, yang mendukung pengalaman saat pengguna duduk dan berdiri," ungkap Oculus VR. Selain itu, rancangan terbaru juga memungkinkan sisi ergonomi yang diperbarui serta desain yang diklaim sangat halus.

Sony RX1R II Full Frame 42 MP

Sony secara tiba-tiba mengumumkan kamera kompak full frame terbaru mereka yaitu Sony RX1R II, yang merupakan update untuk kamera RX1 dan RX1R tahun 2013. Kamera ini bukanlah DSLR atau mirrorless yang lensanya dapat diganti, RX1R II menggunakan fixed-lensa yang kompak. Sony RX1R II menggunakan sensor 42,4 Megapixel BSI-CMOS seperti yang digunakan pada Sony a7R II, dengan lensa fixed 35mm F2 Zeiss Sonnar T *, viewfinder XGA OLED yang dapat ditarik dan disembuntikan.

Sony mengklaim kamera ini adalah yang pertama di dunia yang memiliki  dengan variabel low-pass filter optik yang dapat diatur parameternya antara off, standar, tinggi, dan rendah dengan mode bracketing.

Sistem AF RX1R II menggunakan sistem AF hybrid yang sama seperti Sony A7R II, berupa phase-detect 399 titik AF dengan cakupan 45% bersama dengan CDAF 25 titik. Sony mengklaim peningkatan 30% kecepatan autofocus atas RX1R, dan juga akurasi yang lebih baik dalam cahaya rendah. Sebuah algoritma pelacakan yang lebih kuat disertakan, seperti mode AF-C hingga 5 fps. Mode Eye-AF dan lock-on AF juga disertakan.

Seperti pada model RX1 asli,  switch cincin makro menawarkan akses cepat ke mode fokus jarak dekat yang dapat digunakan dengan subyek sedekat 14cm. Sony RX1R II juga menawarkan pengambilan RAW terkompresi 14-bit.

EVF 2.4M-dot XGA OLED merupakan unit yang sama yang digunakan pada Sony RX100 IV. Selain itu kamera ini juga dilengkapi LCD 3″ resolusi 1.2m-dot, yang dapat dimiringkan ke atas 109 derajat dan ke bawah sebesar 41 derajat. Rekaman video full HD di 1080/60p. Sayangnya kamera kamera tidak memiliki image stabilization di mode still, hanya menyediakan stabilisasi digital untuk mode video. Wi-fi dengan NFC memungkinkan untuk menembak dari smartphone.

BMW i8

The 2015 BMW i8 isn't your average plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). Its lithium-ion battery pack can recharge in as little as 1.5 hours, and the car can rocket from 0 to 60mph in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph. The interior uses recycled materials and naturally treated leather, and it's easily one of the sexiest-looking production cars available. While the i8's scissor-lift-style doors are cool, they also make it difficult to get in and out, and the tiny rear seats are more for storage than passengers. Still, for a car that looks this good and gets this fast, those are minor quibbles. The 2015 BMW i8 is a world-class hybrid sports car well worthy of our Editors' Choice.

Pricing and Design
The 2015 BMW i8$150,095.00 at TrueCar is offered in one trim level at a base price of $136,500. It comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder, 228-horsepower gasoline engine paired with a 129-horespower electric motor, for a total of 357 horsepower. The gas engine drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission, while the electric motor powers the front wheels via a two-speed automatic. The car also has an onboard a 7.1kW lithium-ion battery pack.

Standard features include 20-inch wheels, cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes, adjustable suspension, LED exterior lighting with BMW i "U-shaped" daytime running and brake lights, automatic high beam headlights, auto engine start-stop, an around-view camera view system, keyless entry and ignition, power front seats with memory, leather upholstery, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Technology highlights include a navigation system with real-time traffic info, Bluetooth phone connectivity, BMW's iDrive interface, BMW Assist with remote smartphone app capability, BMW Online and Apps, and a Harman Kardon sound system with hard disk storage and USB and aux inputs.

Three option packages are available. The $10,800 Pure Impulse World option on our test car includes alloy turbine-style wheels, black brake calipers, active headlights, a heads-up display, front and rear parking sensors, an upgraded audio system, "enhanced" Bluetooth with audio streaming, heated seats, ambient lighting, and various interior trim and materials upgrades, including a leather engine cover. With a destination charge of $995 tacked on, our test car come with a final sticker price of $150,095.

The i8's styling is nothing less than stunning. The low-slung, long-wheelbase vehicle features short overhangs for an aggressive stance, while the taillight housings form part of an air channel to improve aerodynamics. The vehicle architecture is made up of a combination of lightweight aluminum and a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic "Life Module" passenger cabin. Once you slide in through the scissor-lift doors, the cabin layout is a surprisingly spacious fit for two adults in front, although the tiny back seats can really only accommodate small children.

Connectivity, Navigation, and Interface
The i8 also takes a hybrid approach to connectivity, like all BMWs. Certain features are available via the car's onboard SIM card, such as a Web browser and connected search, while apps for streaming music and other services are delivered through the BMW Apps platform and a connected smartphone. These features all fall under the ConnectedDrive platform, but services such as BMW Online (along with the BMW Assist telematics systsem) require a subscription after an initial trial period. Both work well, although the embedded 3G modem was, of course, slower than our connected 4G smartphone.

The i8's Navigation Professional system is not much different than the one used in most gasoline-powered BMWs. The system has detailed and sharply rendered maps with accurate real-time traffic coverage. But BMW lags behind German rivals Audi and Mercedes-Benz in that it doesn't provide Google Earth and StreetView modes, which we've found can come in handy.

• All new, ultra-lightweight, compact, 998cc, DOHC, 16-valve (4-valves / cyl.), liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine with "cross plane" style crankshaft.
• The key components of this cutting edge engine design are the "cross plane" crankshaft and an uneven firing order. Both of these features are used on Yamaha's race winning M1 MotoGP racer. The R1 cross plane crankshaft locates the center two rods at a 90 degree plane from the outer cylinders. This means instead of the crank pins aligned on the same plane (a straight line drawn through the center of the crankshaft), they align on 2 planes in the form of a cross... or "cross plane". Working in conjunction with the cross plane crank is an uneven firing order. This R1 engine fires 1,3,2,4 cylinders and the firing intervals are uneven at 270 / 180/ 90 /180 degrees. What all this means to the rider is the most linear torque possible and amazing throttle control. This engine design allows a whole new level of rider - machine communication. One of the most important benefits is the outstanding cornering performance that increased engine control allows.
• The key engineering goal for the new R1 is increased power with excellent controllability. Horsepower increases have gained through increased intake air volume, reduced internal friction and weight reductions. The new R1 is a "rider's machine".
• New, 4-valve cylinder head design features new compact pent roof combustion chambers that utilize lightweight titanium valves on the intake side. The 4-valve design optimizes breathing efficiency and overall engine performance. Combustion chamber volume is carefully monitored to ensure exact volume for maximum power.
• New, larger valves for 2015. Titanium intake valves are 33mm in diameter ('14 = 31mm) while the steel exhaust valves are 26.5 mm in diameter ('14 = 25mm). The lightweight titanium intake valves reduce the reciprocating weight of the intake valves allowing for higher rpms without the concern of valve float.
• New intake port shape provides maximum filling efficiency. The port shape, valve placement and combustion chamber shape induce a tumbling effect of the inbound fuel - air charge that increases combustion speed, power and torque.
• 13:1 compression ratio
• All new "finger follower rocker arms" are used. This system reduces friction allows greater valve lift and provides super accurate control of valve opening and closing at high rpms. The sliding area of the rocker arms feature a DLC (diamond like coating) to reduce friction and wear. Valve adjustment pads sit under the rocker arms
• Valve adjustment intervals are every 40,000 kms.
• Newly designed high performance intake & exhaust cams work in conjunction with the new finger follower rocker arm system.
• New design, lightweight, closed deck aluminum cylinder features a ceramic coating applied directly to the liner-less aluminum block to ensure uniform heat dissipation reduced friction and reduced weight. Closed deck design allows the cylinders to be spaced more closely together, providing a narrower engine. Cylinder is a stand-alone design (not integrated into the upper crank case).
• Offset cylinder / crank design offsets the cylinder block relative to the crankshaft (to the exhaust side) to reduce frictional losses between the pistons and the cylinder wall during the power stroke for improved power output.
• All new, short skirt, forged aluminum pistons offer lightweight, fast throttle response and great reliability. The piston features a box shaped "bridge box " on the underside for increased rigidity and a special Deflic coating to further reduce frictional losses. Ring expansion tension is optimized to reduce friction.
• New piston oil coolers spray oil at the underside of the piston to reduce piston temperatures.
• New, narrower Cross plane crankshaft design. Crankshaft is over 25 mm (1") narrower than the '14 version.
